Christmas cards will always have their place in business but with increasing costs of postage and the limited life expectancy of the card you send (it’ll be in the bin in January!) we would suggest trying seasonal alternatives.
Wall planners and calendars by definition will be in front of your client for the next 12 months. They don’t need to cost a lot more than traditional Christmas cards and in terms of “bang for your buck” there’s just no comparison. The same applies to A3 desk pads, again they are on your clients desk 24/7, 365.
Another major benefit of this kind of promotion is that they give you the opportunity to hand deliver them to you client giving you valuable face to face time and creating an impression with the client that you are giving them something of use. We use desk pads throughout the year and clients often call to ask for a replacement when their existing one runs out.
